Particular flexible insulating materials shaped
with heat moulding in hot-drawing extrusion are produced
on customer's request.
When folded, the polyester film (PET), like all laminates
and coupleds using it, exploits its own "spring
effect" which tends to unfold like in origin thanks
to the "elastic memory" of the film structure.
The heat moulding process provokes a permanent
deformation maintainig the requested shape.
Other materials which don't employ polyester films
(PET) like Aramid paper, Kapton, PVC, PP, PC etc are shaped
with a cold moulding process with prepreg lines.
