Saturated FILMTERM DMD
Three-ply dry calandered polyester fibres laminate (Dacron®),
50 micron nominal thickness, coupled on both sides with
a polyester film (PET) with variable thickness and external
surfaces saturated with high thermal resistance resin.
The H Class saturation resin enhances thermal
resistance to F Class (155°C). Coloured pigments
can be added to the saturation resin in order to be
visible and distinguishable from the unsaturated version.
In accordance with IEC/EN 60626-3 sheet 502.
B-stage prepreg FILMTERM DMD
Three-ply laminate which outspring is DMD, produced
with a pre-preg saturation process with a B-stage
F Class EP resin. The product laminated with saturation
resin, subjected to compression and adequate thermal
process, constitute a network from the B stage pre-preg
to the C stage (polymerized), sticking firmly to itself
and to every metallic and non-metallic material. The
reticulation enhances the thermal resistance to F Class
(155°C).
FILMTERM NM5
Two-ply 50 micron calandered aramid paper laminate,
coupled with variable thickness polyester film (PET).
The aramid paper is resistant to high temperatures
(over 200°C) and is a thermal barrier to one side
of the film. It's highly absorbent to resins and impregnation
varnishes. The presence of aramid paper (in accordance
with IEC/EN 60819) enhances thermal resistance
of the coupling in F Class (155°C).
In accordance with IEC/EN 60626-3 sheet 302
Type approval UL file E171185
